GiveTime is a volunteer opportunity database and hour-tracking tool built by Aarush Arun. This policy explains what information GiveTime collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, GiveTime collects:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, your account name and email

When you use the app, GiveTime stores:

• Volunteer hour log entries you create (organization name, date, hours, and any notes you add)
• Organizations you submit through the submission form
• Your theme preference (light or dark mode)

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to provide the GiveTime service. Your email and name are used for authentication and to personalize your experience. Your hour logs are stored so you can track your volunteer activity, view analytics, and export reports.

GiveTime does not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third parties. Your data is never used for advertising.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform hosted in the United States. All connections between your device and our servers are encrypted using HTTPS.

Third-Party Services

GiveTime uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase for data storage and user authentication
• Google OAuth for optional Google sign-in
• Apple for optional Sign in with Apple
• Vercel for web hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. GiveTime does not share your data with any other third-party services beyond what is necessary for the app to function.

Children's Privacy

GiveTime requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@givetime.co. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account, profile information, and all hour log entries from our systems.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of GiveTime after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
